Here’s our top picks for drinks to give you an energy boost for finals:
Black Tea: Although we don’t talk about tea as much because we focus so much on the Blend and the Brew, we do offer tea! And it has lots of benefits to offer, especially black tea. It is a great choice during finals week because it provides a natural energy boost that can help with focus & concentration which can be helpful when it comes to studying for long periods of time. Black tea can also help enhance your memory, which is also helpful when it comes to exams. And also, tea is comforting & soothing which can help with the stress of finals.
Iced Coffee: Iced coffee is definitely a popular drink during finals week. First of all, because it is very versatile & can be customized any way you want. It is also a very quick & convenient option for busy students who need a quick boost between classes or study break. The caffeine in iced coffee can also help improve memory & cognitive performance, which makes it easier while studying for finals for long periods of time.
Americano: In one of our blog posts, we talk about options for people who might not know what to get while in a coffee shop & and an Americano is one of them. It is pretty much just a shot of espresso that is diluted with hot water. It is almost like regular coffee, but is lighter on the stomach because it's less acidic than regular coffee. Because the majority of the drink is caffeine, it will also help boost your focus & cognitive function.
We know finals can be tough, but remember that excessive caffeine consumption can lead to negative side effects which can include anxiety & insomnia. It is recommended to drink coffee in moderation. Remember to prioritize your well-being during finals week, good luck on all your finals from all of us at Blend & Brew!
I love iced coffees, so I will be stopping in to grab one of those!
As I am a student, this is very helpful!!
Not a big fan of Americanos personally (watered-down espresso is not my forte). An iced coffee, on the other hand, sounds like what I need to get through the last weeks of class!
